Poverello Hunger Fighters

Poverello's Florida AIDS Walk TEAM Fundraising Page for Poverello Food Pantry.

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page for Poverello Hunger Fighters.  We are raising funds for the Poverello Food Pantry. Poverello serves nearly 3,000 families and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. We have decided to take an active part in the battle against AIDS, and on Sunday, March 19th, We will participate in a 5-kilometer fundraising walkathon along Fort Lauderdale Beach to address the escalating spread of HIV/AIDS in South Florida, and provide care for those already affected by the disease.

For more information and a video of our organization, go to www.poverello.org

For over thirty years, HIV/AIDS has plagued our community, and while advances in medicine and treatment have been made, the rate of HIV-related death and new infections is still far too high.  I won’t stop this fight until AIDS is a thing of the past!  To truly make a difference, I need caring people like you to sponsor my participation in the walk. To support me, please make a donation to my campaign right here on the Florida AIDS Walk website. Your gift to this worthy cause is fully tax-deductible.

(If you wish to make a donation by check, please send me an email so I can add you to my list of offline contributors. Make checks payable to Florida AIDS Walk, and please be sure to include my name as the person you are sponsoring in the memo line of the check, to ensure that we both get proper credit.)

Also, please bookmark this page if you're interested in keeping track of my progress as I approach the March 19th fundraising deadline. I encourage you to browse the rest of this website if you’d like to learn more about Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival, or the current status of HIV/AIDS in our community.

To sponsor me, please click on the "SUPPORT US" button, above.

Thanks again! Your gift makes a direct impact on my goal to save lives right here in Florida from the devastation of HIV/AIDS. Together, we are making a difference!
